Leather Weather...Soon?

Knit Sweater & Faux Leather Skirt: ASOS
Mesh Booties & Sunglasses: Zara
Clutch: Kate Spade

I'm really hoping it'll be leather weather soon *crossing fingers* because I'm kind of obsessed with this sleek faux leather midi skirt from ASOS I bought not too long ago. The fit & length is great and it's so light! The quality is great because it's not the cheap kinda faux leather that you see everywhere. When it starts to get colder outside I'd love to pair it with a chunky knit turtleneck sweater and boots.

Actually- I'm obsessed with this entire outfit. The green knit sweater is also from ASOS. I love it because I can layer it on top of a white button down and wear it with leather pants (can you tell I love leather?) or boyfriend jeans.

Now it's time to talk about those SHOES! Let's just say I've found my new running shoes...kidding. I don't run. Although I probably could run in them from store to store while shopping. Anyway, I love the sporty feel of these booties. Zara's shoes have always been a favorite of mine because the quality and price point of their collection is always pretty reasonably priced and are always in style.

That clutch though? It's sweeeeet. Anyone who knows me well enough knows about my obsession with New York City. It was like love at first sight when I saw this clutch at Kate Spade last year. It has a map of the city on the inside and yes- it's made out of paper. I'm so scared about taking it out because if it gets dirty, I'm screwed. It was part of their limited edition collections so I'm not sure when they'll bring a similar style back.

Pakistani Fashion: Asifa & Nabeel

Here's yet another Asifa & Nabeel outfit that I am obsessed with. I wore it to a friend's wedding last weekend and got so many compliments! I rarely ever wear any color other than beige (my friends can vouch for this)when it comes to Pakistani clothes, so it was def out of my comfort zone. I'm usually not a fan of heavy stone work because it can get tacky pretty quick, but not with this outfit. The detailed hand work is absolutely phenomenal! I hope you can see the detail through the pictures and admire it as much as I do. Pictures will never do justice to an Asifa & Nabeel outfit, but I just had to do a shoot anyway. Enjoy!

Thanks Ifrah Atiqi for the awesome photos!

Fringe City

It's supposed to be "fall" weather in Houston right now, but unfortunately that's not the case. I don't care. I'm going to dress like it's fall outside, damn it!

My entire outfit is basically from Forever 21. I swear I tell myself all the time I need to stop shopping there, but I'd rather not spend $200+ on some trendy, boho-chic ensemble from Free People that I can get at Forever for way cheaper (still love Free People though).

I'm obsessed with these printed pants because I can dress them up or down AND they're super comfortable. I should probably get them hemmed to my size considering I was wearing 5 inch heels and they were still dragging underneath my feet. I am the size of a minion though, so I'm sure it'll work better for most people.

I've included links for the necklace, tank and pants. Happy shopping! xo

Pakistani Fashion: Asifa & Nabeel

I've gotten numerous messages about where I get my desi outfits from so I figured I should shed some light on my amazingly talented aunt & uncle, Asifa & Nabeel. Whenever people ask me where I get my outfits from, I tell them that my aunt & uncle are designers- and I kid you not almost every time I say that, the response I get is "Oh my aunt is a designer too!"...*eye roll* Literally everyone has become a "designer" these days.

Here's a brief history on Asifa & Nabeel from Fashion Central:
The label Asifa & Nabeel is a creative consequence of ingenious efforts made by the duo Asifa & Nabeel, who over the last 13 years have not only established a name in the fashion trade but also successfully spread their network to three cities, showcasing exquisite creations for the fashion savvy and style conscious.

What really sets Asifa & Nabeel prĂȘt, couture and bridal lines apart from the rest of the fashion merchandise on offer is their incredible execution of cuts and the harmony between intrinsic motifs, numerous hues, tints and shades used to accentuate the female silhouette and express her sublime charms.

You can check out their latest runway collection here

I decided to shoot my absolute FAVORITE Asifa & Nabeel outfit that I have countlessly repeated at so many events. Every time I wear it I feel like a princess.

BIG thanks to Shazia Kazi for doing my makeup & hair in such a short period of time and Zahra Tiwana for taking the photos!

4 inches high is back y'all!

Wow. I cant believe it's been over a year since I've updated my blog. Thanks to everyone who has been encouraging me to keep up with it!

The main reason why I decided to do a long, overdue post is solely because of these AMAZING gladiator heels that I purchased from Akira. I have been looking for shoes like this forever. It's so hard to find gladiator heels that go up to the knee and aren't cheap looking. So glad I was able to find these! They are relatively comfortable and surprisingly don't take that long to put on. Looks like a lot of work but once you get the hang of the buckles it's pretty easy.

I included the direct link to the shoes just in case. Happy shopping! xo
